Two BoysEveryone else had gone to sleep, he noted.   
To-night he had approached his favourite hiding spot, the kitchen cupboard, and amidst all the chaos, had been able to sneak inside.   
Here he hovered. Quiet. Safe.   
It was a cold winter night, and the outside edge of the cupboard was quite cool. On the one end, he could hear the sounds of the night; the timeless rush of a car as it went past on the nearby highway. The quiet rustle of the wind blowing. For some reason, those sounds came through much more strongly than one would expect.   
On the other side were the warm sounds of family life. The whir of Two Boys

This last batch of pictures is from early December 2007. I spent several hours over the course of a couple days to take them all. All of them were taken with an HP Photosmart m425 digital camera that I bought about a year and a half ago for about $100. Overall, it's one of the best value purchases I've made; it's low on fine control, but you can gimmick the settings to get a good picture every once in awhile.
